But it needn’t be this way – there are ways to overcome fatigue which don’t include ingesting anything made in a lab. Here are 5 tips to help you beat fatigue, naturally.
You may not realize it, but the food you’re eating for energy may actually be tiring you out. Notice a lethargy whenever you eat a high carbohydrate meal like white rice or pasta? It’s the sugar spike that causes you to dull down. Follow these tips to stay alert:
- Make sure that you eat a small meal 6 times a day, including snacks.
- Drink lots of water; dehydration can make you feel foggy.
- A little caffeine goes a long way to perk you up. Don’t overdo it.
- Have a full and healthy breakfast to keep your energy up the whole day.
- Stay away from sugary treats and drinks
Working out is probably the last thing on your mind when your body feels like lead, but experts agree that this is one of the most effective ways to beat fatigue. Here are a few options to try out:
- Go for a run; it’ll make your endorphins sky high
- Have a brisk stroll in natural surroundings
